She came by the home for a quick consultation, made a few recommendations for décor and furniture placement edits, and gave lots of love to our pups. After we met and agreed to sell our home, Laurie provided insight that the home would sell very quickly, and we needed to formulate a plan for where we were going. She was very upfront about the aggressive market, but we were very confident that with her help, we would find a place that would fit into our dreams. Our initial plan was to rent but was open to the idea of purchasing if we found the right home. Immediately, Laurie had our rental listings in our inbox. She recommended us to drive and walk neighborhoods, as she wanted our next neighborhood to be friendly for our 2 chihuahuas…and us of course. After viewing several listings and observing the prices of rent, it was clear we needed to purchase a home. So, Laurie quickly pivoted to locate properties in the Crestview area that was in our price range. Miraculously, she found so many adorable homes that were so perfect for the dogs and us. We viewed 2 homes before falling in love with the home we knew we wanted. We continued viewing the listings that were provided but just had to come back to house number 2. Once we made our final decision, Laurie went to work to get us the deal we needed to close on the house. Her negotiation skills were so impressive. She got us locked into a contract as a contingent buyer in a market where we would be easily outbid by the average buyer. She also worked with the seller to help get a few extra things added on all for the price we wanted to pay. Just know the skills were top-notch, almost like watching an episode of one of those upscale real estate shows on HGTV. At this point, she had us under contract to sell our home, under contract to buy our new home, and had coordinated this all to happen within 2 days of the sale and purchase. Laurie didn’t exit the picture once the contracts were set. She continued to help facilitate documentation exchange, helped locate a contractor to help repair items that came up in the inspection, and even helped us locate moving boxes. Truly, there was so much that Laurie did for us during this whole process that we’ve never ever experienced in our prior home transactions.
